You will work with the colour blue to open the third eye, enhancing intuition; and light blue to work on throat chakra so that you speak your truth and have balance. The full moon is a powerful time for looking within, for healing and shifting. Hello my name is Helen and I have opened a brand new yoga studio in Elephant & Castle. I found solace in the practice of yoga many years ago after my friend recommended a local Vinyasa class in London. It was then that I discovered my true passion for Yoga and the stimulating benefits for the mind, body and soul.This took me on a life long journey which included training at the Yoga Bhawna Mission, Uttarkashi in the Himalayas.Her practice is authentic and holistic, combining Hatha and Vinyasa principles and incorporating her
knowledge of, Yoga Philosophy, Chanting, Mantras, Sanskrit, Asana
(postures), Pranayama, (breathing), Yoga Philosophy,
Meditation/relaxation and Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) plus Acu-yoga
(yoga for acupressure).
Welcome to Barefoot Yoga, a brand new, comfortable and welcoming yoga, fitness & massage studio located in the vibrant, and upcoming neighbourhood of Elephant & Castle in South-east London. We offer a unique experience of both yoga/fitness classes and massage treatments in our friendly and independent newly renovated studio. Yoga styles include: Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Rocket yoga, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin yoga, Yoga nidra plus Prenatal and Postnatal yoga. Every month at Fullmoon we hold a Sound Gong-bath Mediation. We have a heated room for Hot Yoga (to around 28°C) to help improve flexibility, detoxification, and mental focus. Fitness classes include Barre Fitness and Pilates. (pilates coming soon).

In Soundbath Meditation, you are asked to lie down in a comfortable lying down position for a long period of time. There is no physical moment just lying in stillness whilst the sounds happen around you.
The soundbath meditation requires you to lie down for a long period of time (one hour). If you have any issues that you feel may hinder your ability to relax into a comfortable lying down position then this practice may not be suitable to you.
Equally, if you are sensitive to sounds or instruments, this also may be suitable.
If you feel that you have any physical needs that may affect your ability to attend the session, then please do alert me to this prior to the event.
This practice is not suitable for children and only persons that are 16 years of age and older may attend this event.
