Discover Shoreditch after-dark visiting the hideaways that don’t show up in your average tour guide and hopefully never will! This part of East London has changed dramatically over the past decade; now famous as a trendy hipster haunt. This can make it difficult to still experience the stomping ground authentically like before the mainstream crowds flocked here. But, with the help of my local expertise…discover your intrepid night-owl and unearth some more secret spots!

Detailed description:

The hidden hangout hit-list:

  • A basement speakeasy close to Spitalfields Market with a live Jazz band and killer martini menu for company.
  • A hush-hush specialist rum bar filled with the sounds of acoustic sets by some of London’s freshest musicians. Decked out by the work of contemporary graffiti  artists, you’ll have a mix of the arts and understated after-dark cool.
  • A newly opened warehouse. Livelier than the previous spots, test your dancing feet to the soundtracks of resident DJ’s from London’s burgeoning Afrobeats scene.
  • London’s freshest concept bar. A welcome update to the city’s standard members bar. Spread across 3 floors, each has its own unique weekly theme with bespoke decor, tailored DJ sets & custom drinks menus. So far, the spaces have morphed  into everything from an indoor rainforest to the surface of planet Mars!


About the host

Jasper here…a native Londoner and big night-owl! My love for the nightlife scene originates from a passion for live music combined with almost a decade working as a mixologist in bars across
London as well as some time in Berlin and Amsterdam.

As a born & bred Londoner I’m incredibly patriotic, constantly exploring this magical hometown of mine for one of a kind ‘off the beaten track’ venues. These always seem to be the home of the most unique vibes and the most creative music & drink offerings.

The beauty of the nightlife and music scene globally is that it’s always evolving with new hotspots & trends emerging. As a true creature of adventure, I do as I do in London when Im travelling to other places in the UK - or abroad. This keeps me on my toes and my appetite hungry for even more to add to my little black book.
 
I’ve been hosting London nightlife tours for almost 2 years. It’s been an amazing way to meet other night-owls & share local tips and recommendations for places across the globe. Im forever looking to build this growing network of mine, so please…come join me!
