How long will it take for my experience to be published on the website?
Once you’ve registered, your experience will usually take up to 2 weeks before it goes live. But don’t worry, our team will contact you as soon as it happens!
Will I be able to contact my host before the experience starts?
Of course! Your host can be contacted before or after the experience through the Let’s GoDo website.
Will the hosts be background checked?
All hosts will be checked prior to the experience being posted on the website. This way we ensure guests a high level of safety.
Will I get my money’s worth?
It’s up to you! All experiences are required to have extensive detail attached to them so you can then decide if they’re worth the money or not.
Can I set out whatever price I want?
Yes you can. It’s your experience, therefore, you decide the price! However, be wary of the fact that higher prices can scare people off and make them want to browse other people’s activities.
Can I be both a host and a traveller?
Definitely! We actually encourage you to change roles from time to time so you can experience more things and meet more like-minded people.
Can I talk to my host/guest about changing the booking?
Yes you can! All discussions relating to the booking modification must be conducted on the Let’s GoDo platform.
How much will it cost me to become a Let’s GoDo host?
It is completely free to sign up! And in just 2 weeks your experience could be live on the Let’s GoDo website! The commission is 20%, but you’ll only pay once you get paid.
What do I do if I lost my Let’s GoDo credentials?
If you think your credentials have been lost or stolen, or someone else is using your account, you need to tell us straight away. Once the team has rectified any issues you can then recover your password with an email.
Can someone else book the experience for me?
Of course they can! Make sure that person knows you well because they would have to provide us with information about you. Also, they have to inform the host of any medical or physical conditions, or other circumstances that may impact your and any additional guest’s ability to participate in any service. Also, you will be the one to comply with our T&Cs.
After I pay for my experience, where do I get a receipt?
The receipt will be sent to you by email. Simple!
Can I bring my friends with me?
Of course you can! Just make sure you add your friend’s email and full name in the application form at the time of booking. They can even help out by sharing your experience on social media! Isn’t that what friends are for?
If I come with my friends, do I have to pay only once or does everyone have to pay the price listed on the website?
If you wish to book for everyone you can! Just make sure to include all their contact details and requirements, and remember that all experiences prices are per person.
As a guest, can I change the booking I made?
Yes you can! You and the host are the only ones who can make changes to the booking, however, you might have to pay an additional fee (e.g. guest fee, cancellation fee and/or tax).
Can I get my money back if I cancel my booking?
Guests can cancel a confirmed booking in accordance to the listing’s cancellation policy, and we will refund you the amount of the listing fee that is due in accordance with such cancellation policy.
Can I upload photos on the Let’s GoDo platform?
We love our hosts uploading photos – but before we share anything on our platform the Let’s GoDo Team will check the quality of everything submitted. After all, we want your experience looking the best it can!
