On this 3 hour workshop you will create your own unique, one-of-a-kind prints using the alternative photography process of Cyanotype. Cyanotype is a very simple yet versatile printmaking technique, and is one of the oldest alternative photography techniques. We lay photographic negatives printed onto acetate over sensitised paper, and expose it to UV light revealing a completely one-of-a-kind print in a gorgeous cyan blue colour.

Hi! I'm Rach, an artist printmaker and workshop facilitator with a decade of experience. I love sharing my passion for printmaking through intimate, relaxing and playful workshops where I can encourage and guide you through each process. Watching people gain confidence, embrace their creativity and be so proud of what they have achieved at the end of each workshop is what it's all about.
The Village Hall on Deansgate Mews is a perfect setting for a workshop. This community space is bright, airy and spacious, with kitchen and toilet facilities on the same floor and is also accessible by lift. Located along the side of the beautiful Great Northern Warehouse, this city centre venue is very well linked to local transport, and is perfectly placed for exploring the city before or after the workshop has finished.
