Detailed description:This course is designed for beginners or hobbies who want to expand their knowledge. Even if you've never held a chisel before or you don't know how to draw a design, by the end of this carving course I will teach you the fundamentals you need to finish a basic woodcarving project. To do this, we will examine the fundamentals necessary to begin carving beautiful geometric patterns, leaves, and flowers. I will guide you through the necessary steps required for every beginner to achieve the groundwork for this skill. In this introductory woodcarving course, you will learn the fundamentals necessary to begin carving beautiful geometric patterns, leaves, and flowers. However, you'll need some experience with wood carving tools before you can master these fundamental techniques. For this reason, I will demonstrate and teach you how to sharpen chisels, how to handle them safely, how to cut shapes, how to prepare your workspace, and how to prepare your wood material. The best way to learn how to use these tools is through direct experience and active participation. You will shown how to use the necessary equipment as it is needed throughout the project, and then you will be able to put your knowledge to use. Sharpening your tools regularly is another important step towards mastering woodcarving. Through a hands-on approach, you will learn how to maintain your tools to ensure that the final product of your course project and future endeavours is of the highest possible quality. You will leave this class with the wood-carved piece you made and foundational knowledge and self-confidence to pursue further carving training on your own.
