In this candle making class, you'll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and learn the beautiful art of making your own soy candle. This hands-on workshop will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you need to create unique and personalised candles that fill your home with delightful scents.
Detailed description:If you're a fan of candles or know someone who is, join Fire Nest for a relaxing experience learning how to make your own luxury fragranced wooden wick candle. Made with soy wax, your creation will last longer and burn slower.
This is a fun, relaxing and engaging one-hour workshop with expert knowledge and guidance provided by experienced tutors, who'll show you each step of the process, from choosing your fragrance to setting your wick. You will be able to choose from a range of different fragrances to suit your preference, as well as finishing your candle with an assortment of dried botanicals.
You'll also pick up some helpful candle care tips and advice to help you get the most out of your creation. By the end of this immersive and relaxing experience, you'll have learned the fundamentals of a new craft and have created one gorgeous, sustainable candle to take home with you.
Hi, I'm Phoebe and I run Fire Nest alongside my partner Will. We run a variety of different Craft Workshops including Candle Making, Pottery Hand-Building, Bath Bomb Making, Perfumery and much more. Alongside this, we also sell Hand-Crafted At Home Craft Kits and hand-made products.
We started our business back in 2019, and within 5 months we decided to both go full-time due to the demand and it is the best decision we've ever made!

We host our Workshops in a few different locations, for groups of up to 6 people we host these at our Home Studio based in Kempston, Bedfordshire. For groups of 10 and above, we host these in the quaint village of Stagsden at Stagsden Village Hall.
We also host Private Workshops where we can host the Workshop in the comfort of your own home for groups of 2+ within Bedfordshire. We do also love to travel with our Workshops, so we can still host for you outside of Bedfordshire, we just charge a small mileage fee per mile.
