Hi! I'm Mona Cordes, I'm a German based Fashion Print designer. I graduated from a Masters's from Kingston School of Art in 2020. With the help of statements and boldness through graphics and choice of themes, I voice political and ecological messages. My brand is working towards a socially sustainable business model, locally produced in London by me only.
I am leading Printing workshops and will show you how unused and unloved garments can be turned into your favourite piece in your wardrobe via screen print / vinyl print / other printing tequines.
Detailed description:The day will start with a small introduction about the brand, how I work, and how I have been running the brand since starting after university, followed by a description of silk screen printing. I will also have a selection of garments to show from my recent collection, ‘CELLUSION’ launched in February with London Fashion Week.
Workshoppers can make their personalized design to then print onto their chosen garment! You will be shown how to make your moodboard, design sketching, and finalize your design to then print with one of the tequines explained. There will be groups for each silk screen design.
You will leave the workshop with the knowledge of garment up-cycling through various print techniques.
The workshop is suitable for anyone, you don’t need to have printed ever before, anyone can do it and learn so much in just one day.
I have years of experience as a professional screen printer and digital print designer. Therefore you are guaranteed a great workshop day and will learn a lot in just one day of 11-4, with a lunch break.
The workshop setting will be very achieving and relaxed at the same time. This is an online class which teaches you basics of printing methods. Screen printing will be explained, mono printing, vinyl printing, sublimation printing and these will be simplified so it can be shown as a home school experience with very spare materials available.

Cancellation Policy~ Mona Cordes is running this workshop with all her heart. Since Mona Cordes is a small brand running purely by herself she can’t afford to have empty spaces, therefore 10 days cancellation is the policy. Refunds or moving dates is not possible at this point. Mona hopes you understand and she wants to make this experience worth it and it would be sad to not be able to run this kind of workshop.
