This is a one to one 4-hour Online class exploring felting techniques and character design tips that you can later apply to create your own pieces. You will learn to make different shapes in felt and how to build a structure for your felted piece and I will guide you I will guide you on how to shape the wool using needle felting. You will learn tips about my making process and colouring techniques. Materials are delivered to your address so we Will need at least 10 working days between the booking day and the workshop.
Detailed description:WHAT DO I LEARN - Basic workshop:
-Needle felt Techniques
-Carding felt and blending colours
-Character design tips
-Create basic shapes in felt, how to assemble them to build your piece
- Create a wire structure for your design
DURATION 3.5 hours + break
All Tools and Materials will be provided and delivered to your home

My name is Marta, also known as Mei Mei. I'm an experienced sculptor artist and I create wool sculptures using a needle felting technique. Textile and fibre arts are becoming popular, I started sharing-teaching my skills in my London studio back in 2018 and I loved the experience. I also offer online courses for people based in other countries and I provide and ship the materials so you can fully focus on the learning experience! I like a good chat and I'm happy to resolve any questions and share ideas in my workshops. I love making art and my second best skill is teaching, whether you are a beginner or an experienced artists, you are all welcome to my workshop
