A few nights ago, after a pint or four, I made a bet with my friend that I could make any vegan dish significantly better by the addition of either soy sauce or peanut butter. In this workshop you get to hold me to my claim, and we'll cook something together and test my theory! Message me before you book, and if you've got a favourite dish I'll attempt to not only veganise but elevate the dish with either peanut butter or soy sauce. Maybe not both, though - unless you've got an idea? Oh and if I fail and it's awful, I promise I'll eat the whole thing in front of you. Has anyone got the chops for this?
I'm Ali, and in addition to being a barmaid I've been a vegan for almost twelve years and was vegetarian for over a decade before that. Growing up in the 90s and 00s wasn't as easy for a vegan as it is now, so I learnt to cook for myself which is how I've come up with my wild theory. Test me!

You don't have to cook alongside me but you certainly can! If you've got your kids with you, though, do exercise your good judgement around knives and stovetops and the like; actually, we should all do that. Incidentally, I am more than happy to discuss and debate the merits and challenges of veganism and try to answer any questions put my way, but I refuse to stoop to insults or bad-faith arguing and I'm guessing that if you're interested in this workshop at all, you do too. Peanut butter and soy sauce are for all!
