About the experience

Experience Duration : 3 hrs
Experience Summary:

A discovery of Covent Garden through its fragrances of past and present.

Detailed description:

Covent Garden is best known as a theatre quarter of London with a lovely covered  market and cozy restaurants.  But did you know that in recent years it has become one of the main destinations for perfume lovers, offering vast choice of fragrances made in Great Britain and France?

We will start our perfume walk at Miller Harris’ boutique in Seven Dials and try their fragrance created for Jane Birkin or inspired by popular books.

I will help you to discover latest perfume trends at Experimental Perfume Club after which we will dive into the exciting history of Covent Garden uncovering its darkest pages. We’ll talk about theatre stars like Nell Gwyn and David Garrick,  orange girls and ladies from Harris’s List, Charles Dickens and, yes, a fragrant ghost of Drury Lane theatre!

The tour takes about three hours during which we will visit French and English perfume boutiques, like Diptyque, Jo Malone, Parfums de Marly, Guerlain, to finish in an iconic Penhaligon’s boutique in Wellington Street.

Our partners prepared treats and gifts for all our guests. EVERY GUEST RECEIVES A GOODY BAG.

Please check the weather forecast for London and dress accordingly on the day of the walk.
