About the experience

Experience Duration : 2 hrs
Experience Summary:

Do you want to go on the potter's wheel and hand-build a beautiful pot? We welcome you to have a taste of both at The Ceramicists Studio!

Enjoy this taster session, where you'll be surprised at how much you will achieve with the help of established potters, and you will be given all the secrets to creating a beautiful mug or other dishes all by yourself.

You will also be able to decorate your creations and have them fired and glazed professionally!

Detailed description:

Enter our beautiful spacious studio, where you'll find your own desk and tools all nicely set up, so you can relax and enjoy a fun and therapeutic session.

We are passionate and experienced ceramicists and will ensure you make the most of the session.

We will demonstrate and share with you the secrets of hand sculpting with clay, and we will also make sure you get hold of how to throw on the potter wheel too.

At the end of the class, your beautiful pottery pieces will be taken away to be professionally glazed and fired, ready to collect after 2-3 weeks to display at home or give away as handmade gifts! (optional delivery can be arranged on the day)

We look forward to seeing you for a hands-on experience!

NOTE: 1 chosen piece is offered in this workshop! There is a material fee of ?5 per any EXTRA piece, so please remember to bring cash on the day. Example of work to be made: sculpt a cup and throw a milk jug!
